Meyer Computer Congratulates Joe and Shirley Blackburn on 30 years of Marriage

We were honored that Joe and Shirley invited us to their 30 year anniversary party last weekend. It was great to see so many familiar faces celebrating this happy achievement, though not at all a surprise. After all, the Blackburns have been pillars of the community for years. Joe's first career was as a firefighter for Maui Fire Department and he remains an active member of his community as a Realtor® and has announced his plans to run for Maui County council in 2012.

Joe and Shirley have seen Maui change quite a bit since 1981 and they've changed too. In fact, Joe recently asked us to redesign his website. Joe's new website is a custom design with a sleek, modern feel. The blue and white theme with “shiny” buttons and a contact form on the front page really set Joe's site apart from other Maui real estate websites. We think Joe's new website will be an asset to Maui Land Broker and Property Management, Inc. for years to come and we'll be there anytime he needs it updated, tweaked, or repaired because like Joe, Meyer Computer is based on Maui and we're not going anywhere.

Joe's old site featured a blue and green palette conjuring images of Maui's many lovely oceanfront homes, condos, and parks. The new design replaces the green with white for higher contrast in the content area, making it easier for site visitors to read more about Joe's property management and real estate business. The simpler menu system also allows visitors to preview the entire website's contents quickly which is great for a concise website like Joe's.
