Meyer Computer Bids Farewell to a Productive 2009

Christmas has come and gone, and New Years is right around the corner. Here at Meyer Computer, we're gearing up for a promising and busy 2010. During 2009, we updated and added some cool features to our services, created a vast amount of well-crafted websites and have been boosting our online presence.

This year we've been busy improving our Value Added IDX, the beneficial tool that surpasses Realtor search expectations. Google StreetView has been incorporated into the Map section of the IDX to allow users a virtual tour of a listed property. The much appreciated and newly created RAM eFlash system allows Realtors to have an automatically updated email list of fellow colleagues to send information regarding properties. A Real Estate Glossary was also added to explain Hawai'i real estate terminology, such as "Ohana." An awesome addition was also added to IDX and is perfect for the typical busy, on-the-go individual. It's the Mobile Search feature in IDX. It allows you to view property listings via your cell phone, PDA or smartphone.

Social networking, in this day and age, is vital to target your online audience, that could very well be your potential clients. This past year we joined Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, just to name a few. Reaching out to such a massive public audience benefits any business willing to put the time and energy into this type of marketing strategy.

Throughout 2009, we have created some awesome websites for satisfied clients. Some of these clients include, Lowson & Associates, Team West Maui, and Maui Land Broker and Property Management. During this year we created, and are still creating, excellent websites for a different type of clientèle, non-profit organizations. We were informed that Maui Economic Concerns of Community Inc. needed help with building a web site, so we offered them a website as a donation. We are currently working on a few more that will be revealed in our blog soon, and more will be donated throughout next year.

As we finish off this productive year, we hope for an equally, if not more rewarding year in 2010. Happy Holidays!
