Think Local Maui Campaign is in Full Swing
Everything's better when it's made local.
Whether it's a good or service, using a local company always benefits the community. Hence the Think Local Campaign that began early this year by Mayor Charmaine Tavares. By visiting the Think Local website, consumers can access a list of all companies that are participating in this program, as well as a multitude of coupons and discount rates.

Meyer Computer is offering an amazing deal that can be found on the Think Local web site, and on our Google owner-verified listing. Get $99 off of a CMS site design, that allows you to maintain your website with ease. Just print out your coupon and bring it to our office located at 1910 East Vineyard Street, Suite D in Wailuku. Business hours are 9 am - 4 pm on weekdays.
This program is not only sponsored by the County of Maui but also by Maui Magazine, Maui Weekly, Lahaina News, KAOI, The Maui News and much more contributing local businesses. They also hold their Maui County Think Local radio show once each month on KAOI, 1110 AM. If you've missed a show, don't worry an archive of previous shows have been posted for the public on the site. The next radio show is scheduled for Friday, July 2nd and will feature Julie Harris of Lahaina Myth & Magic, Thomas Kafsack of Surfing Goat Dairy and Melissa McCoy of McCoy Travel.
By the way, if you would like to nominate a local small business that you feel has gone above and beyond in their goods and services submit them in the 2010 Mayor's Small Business Awards that will be presented on Friday, October 22nd at the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. There's a variety of categories including the Small Business Award that is given to a for-profit organization or individual owning a business within Maui County.
Visit the Think Local website to learn how to become a supporting local business, or to even get the best deals in the county.
